The KIT-8VWTX303 includes all parts for mechanical fitting of an 8-inch Alpine X803D-U / X803DC-U Head Unit, as well as an interface that allows to retain the car’s air condition and heater control screens and the optical parking sensor display.

The interface also supports the vehicle’s radio display in the instrument cluster (MFD) and Steering Wheel Remote Control. An antenna adapter with phantom feed and a power Quadlock adapter are included as well. You can even directly connect the original VW / Skoda / Seat microphone and reversing camera with the wiring harness.

Fully adjustable high-pass, low-pass, and band-pass filters, plus 31-band equalizers on every channel match the sound to your speakers and smooth out any hot spots or dips in the response due to your vehicle's interior. The delay feature lets you center the stereo image for your listening position. After initial setup using your PC device, all adjustments can be made automatically using the PXE-C80-88's control app on your iPhone using its built-in mic, or with your PC using a separate measurement microphone, like the Alpine KTX-CSP1. PC users can make all the sound adjustments manually to create a more personalized soundscape.

While the PXE-C80-88 can act as a stand-alone processor for use with your own aftermarket amplifiers, its built-in 8-channel amp has plenty of power to run your system. It puts out six channels of 35 Watts RMS each to speakers with 4 Ohm impedances or 70 Watts RMS each to speakers with 2 Ohm impedances — so it'll work equally well with factory and aftermarket speakers — plus two channels that can each produce 130 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms or 260 Watts RMS at 2 Ohms, to power louder mid-bass drivers and subwoofers.
